Case Studies – New Build

We were approached by Muir Housing in the summer of 2016 with a request to carry out a measured survey in order to draw up plans/submit for approval for a single storey extension in order to provide an independent bedroom and en-suite for a child with deteriorating mobility.

IGL provided a full Design, Cost Control and Site Monitoring service plus co-ordinating the structural engineers services to provide a specialist foundation design.

The works were carefully co-ordinated to minimize the disruption to the existing tenants, who remained in occupation whilst the works were undertaken.

IGL also assisted in providing back up and sign off in connection with DSG Grant Funding for the extension and adaptation works.
